Watch me Glow Rules & General Information

This one of a kind competition lets the dancer explore the world of improv in a fun, upbeat setting that is sure to leave a smile on their face.  The dancer will choose the style of dance and we will choose the song.  After each dancer performs, our faculty will provide on the spot, inspirational critique for the dancer before they exit the stage.

• All ages for improv competition are determined as of date of event.

• Levels for the improv competition are different than the convention levels, and are as follows:  Mini (7-9yrs), Junior (10-12yrs), Teen (13-14yrs), Senior (15+yrs)

•  Registration for the improv competition is on a first come, first serve basis.  Only 40 entries per a city will be allowed due to time constraints.  Once maximum capacity is reached, we will no longer accept improv competition entries.

• If a minimum amount of entries is not reached, Glow Dance Experience reserves the right to cancel the Watch Me Glow Improv Competition at that city.

• Dancers will chooses the style of dance that will enhance their GLOW.  Glow Dance Experience will choose an appropriate song for the style of dance chosen by the dancer. 

• Each dancer will receive a total of 1 minute (60 seconds) to improv their chosen style of dance.

• Each dance will receive LIVE on the spot critiques from the Glow Dance Experience Faculty.  Faculty is subject to change.

• The Watch Me Glow Improv Competition will take place the Saturday evening prior to the Glow Dance Experience Convention between 7:00PM - 10:00PM.

• There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place winner in each age level. All winners will receive a trophy/plaque. In addition to a trophy/plaque, the 1st Place winner from each age level will their very own GLOW wings!
